Super Happy! You Want to Know Why?

I have great news to share. Some of my photographs have been selected for two different exhibitions. I am so excited!!

One of my images from my project “Our Time on Earth, Living the Dash; Freezing Seconds that Never Stooped’ was selected to take part in the Motion>Blur exhibition at the Praxis Gallery in Minneapolis.

The chosen image is “Kites, People and El Morro”, a beautiful picture I took in April when I visited my vibrant island of Puerto Rico. This image is exactly that, vibrant! It displays a clear energetic afternoon of people living their dash happily.

“Kites, People and El Morro”,

The opening exhibition is August 17, and I was thinking of flying over there to take part in the opening night reception because this is the second time one of my images is going to be on show in the gallery and last year I couldn’t go. But… I got another email.

This exhibition is super important to me because it is local to me and I can invite and meet people that I know on the opening night. Besides that, the images are from Lake Apopka, a place where I love to go and take pictures. So here it is. I formally invite anyone from Central Florida to come and meet me and many other local talented artists on Friday, August 16, at The Healthy West Orange Arts & Heritage Center in Oakland, FL from 5:30 to 7:30pm. If you can not attend that day you can still see the exhibition, it will be on show until October 25, 2024.

These are the four images that were chosen to be part of the Lake Apopka exhibition.

I hope we can meet!
