I present to you, Little Blue

Open wings, lets go.

As juvenile, little blue heron are white, then as immature adults the plumage start changing to a patchwork of white and blue. Its scientific name is Egretta caerulea 🙂

  1. Nice photos and great info on the LBH. We go to the Orlando Wetlands several times a year when we go to Viera and Merritt Island. It wasn’t open in April when we went down for a day trip. Welcome to Bird Weekly. 😊
